Upcoming Colloquium Talk: Felix Brandt on Coordinating Charitable Donations

Thursday, May 22, 2025
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Join us for a colloquium talk by Felix Brandt, Professor of Algorithmic Game Theory at the Technical University of Munich, on the timely topic of “Coordinating Charitable Donations.”

Brandt will explore a novel direction in social choice and fair division—how to allocate donor-funded budgets across charitable projects based on agents’ preferences. Departing from traditional participatory budgeting, this framework models donations without fixed project costs and highlights key trade-offs between efficiency, fairness, and strategyproofness.

To attend the colloquium talk please register using this link.
